Incapacity Benefit is 'income' and there are lenders who would consider a mortgage offer.  You need to approach a specialised Mortgage Broker - you should find names/tel numbers of suitable brokers in the yellow pages. You could also search on the internet.  Do you have a current Social Worker?  They may be able to give some advice.   Good Luck!
