A few days ago I asked whether or not I should put up the Christmas Tree as I was going away for Christmas. Decided not to..........until today that is. Unexpected visit from 7 year old grandaughter changed everything. Was up the loft within 10 minutes of her arrival and the tree is now twinkling merrily away in the corner. Ah the power of grandchildren.

That's what Christmas is REALLY about magie forget the religious side or the commercialism it's the look on the faces of those little kids when they see the Christmas tree all lit up, with the presents Santa's left for them underneath it and the old stocking full of all the chocolate and nuts and bits and pieces,as far as I'm concerned that's what Christmas is really about
