No idea about Canada as this is a UK site, with regards to future outlook, I would imagine canada would face the same problems as uk florists. For the last few years the industry has had a battering by supermarkets which offer BQ's at less than cost price giving consumers an unrealistic price of flowers, this makes them believe that florists are ripping them off, so it is a struggle for the florist to compete for their share of the market. They have to market their skills properly, after all it's not cheap to qualify, supermarkets can't knock up bespoke arrangements for weddings, funerals etc. I'm doing dinner at the moment, I'll have a think and come back later.
