One more Wardrobe hinge question!

Was going to add this to my previous question but thought 'no Booldawg, visibility is key to AB' so here we go;

When fitting hinges to the door and cupboard it would be good to have the door in place (door fully opened at 90 degrees) whilst I measure and drill holes.

Is there any way to clamp door to wardrobe so it doesnt move before the hinges are fitted?

Usual practice with an ordinary room door, is to fit the hinges to the door first.
Then, offer it up to the frame/wardrobe. Small timer wedges are used to prop the door (off the floor) in exactly the right position for marking hinge positions on the frame.
With a wardrobe, I guess the door is some way off the floor. Wedging off some sort of packing would do it.
But.......... I think you might find it easier to make a "gauge rod".
Cut a piece of batten to the exact inside dimension of the wardrobe frame where the door is going to fit.
Offer it to the (already hinged) door. Mark the hinge positions.
Put the gauge rod to the wardrobe and transfer the marks. :o)
