I had Gammon and Egg last year in the spoons at St Annes, first class.

Thanks owdhamer. Much appreciated. Getting hungry now...
Had a mixed grill about 3 weeks ago, very nice and reasonably priced
Steak, mash, mushroom and peas. If you go on a Tuesday it is only £8.00 for this and a drink....yum
Go on a Tuesday night. Two steaks and a bottle of Hardy's shiraz for £15.99.
I think that they are currently doing a full roast for £2.99 or at least they were. I would go for that if I were you as that set me up for the whole day when I had one last week.
I had a lovely steak at a Wetherspoons last year, it was one of their 21 day-aged ones, really nice.
Not in my area.
I worked in wetherspoons as a student and the food was always good when I did it, if wasn't really greasy from memory. You have to remember not much if anything is fresh its mainly frozen, so consider that when you order, I wouldn't go for an item which came which lots of fresh veg as it probably old and if it not bought out quick it curls up and dries under the heat lamps. I always thought the burgers were well made and and the steaks/mixed grills
things like pasta and curry are basically a ready meal microwaved and put on the plate, they taste good but if your going out for a meal i think its a shame really, you know if a burger or steak/mixed grill someone has cooked that for you, burger from frozen, steak from the fridge fresh, both put on the flame grill
Give Wetherspoons a miss -go somewhere that's not boil-in-the-bag rubbish
The last time I went in a Weatherspoons I was surprised at the choice! I had the breakfast menu ... beans on toast & fresh fruit & yoghurt!
what the...even the burgers are frozen 'chargrilled' and simply microwaved.

I wouldn't be surprised if the steak is done the same way.
Of course it's all quick cook stuff. You pays your money and takes your choice. But what they do they do reasonably well and they do a decent drop of proper beer. If you want haute cuisine you don't go to Wethers.
The Troll Cart in Great Yarmouth is a vibrant spoons with good food.
I love their tikka masala xx
