halogen oven

hi my halogen oven is not heating up all lights on so not power failure. Has anyone had this happen? Would it be repairable or bin it? I so love it and not very old. Thoughts are maybe thermostat.

You mean lights on in the oven as opposed to in your house, I take it.

I've never owned one but I thought the heat came from the light. If it is bright, how can you not be getting heat as well ? Does the light just flicker on occassionally, then go off ?

I know this is obvious but you have turned the temperature on haven't you?
