Jet Skis.....

Are they worth the hassle?
Just spent the weekend in Dorset, bro in law has a jet ski which cost over £10k, after picking it up from a lock up garage he then has to drive the trailer to the beach and reverse it down a slope onto the sand.
Unhook it and remove the numberpate board and straps, then go and park the car half a mile away.
Walk back and wait for the 4x4 guy to tow the trailer to the waters edge and pay £20 for the privelage, struggle to lift the thing off the trailer into the sea, push it out far enough to start it up to avoid sucking up sand and stones.
Bearing in mind the sea was freezing cold even though the weather was 80 degrees +, then go out for half hours 'fun' and back again to try and tempt me on it but with no success as I'd settled down with a col beer.
Then repeating the process of pushing the trailer to the waters edge and struggling to get it back on then waiting for Mr 4x4 man to drag it out again before walking back to car to pick it up and take it back to lock up!
Am I alone in thinking its not worth the hassle?

It is great just messing about on the sea !
