sitting here with a can of fly spray ready to zap anything that comes near me,was thinking before all these cans and fancy gadgets came into production what did you use to get rid of flys,i remember we used to fill a jam jar with water to catch the bee's what did you use???

It usually means there is some reason for the flies to be around or somewhere they are coming from, check the garden to see if there isn't a dead animal or similar lurking, especially if it's quite a problem.

i remember all the dangly bits of paper with loads of fly's stuck to them,yuck.

no theres nothing dead in here exept me(half dead)but i get a lot of wasps as well,then there is the moths at night,and the odd spider,you would think i live in the jungle

a fly swat for flys that wont leave the house, fly screens for the door. open a window to let out bluebottles/wasps and bees. bees are a valuable commodity these days, I wouldn't kill any of them!
