Hostess trolleys, I remember my mother trundling hers out each Sunday!

Re the phones, I remember picking up the phone (not having to dial) and the real person at the exchange knowing who I was without our having to say anything. That was the time when our phone number was the name of our town, + 90.

Any one remember TV lights?...You had a little light on top of the TV or your eyes would suffer or drop out or some other nasty thing..ours was a little sailing ship with a small bulb inside...but they came in all shapes and flavours...just remembered them...!

We went 'trim' in the 70's dreadful trilling sound but my mum liked them One colour for the living-room and a different one for the bedroom. Weird woman.

Don't know about the TV lights Comm, but the remote was always the youngest child in the house :-D

Trim phones were a damn nuiscance..the kids got to imitate them and I got fed up getting up to answer the phone to inane luaghter from them...little beggers!
