an old blanket or you buy pet blankets. We used to have one to wrap around our cat for security when we took him to the vets as we could never get him into a catbox so we used to wrap the blanket around him tightly and it was like a comfort blanket to him. He loved it

What kind of pets do you have ?
Some like it hot & some like it on the cool side, my dog for instance is quiet happy to lay on a frosted lawn and I've never seen him shiver yet
I think a basket is a good idea or maybe a mattress, a cuddle up on the sofa could keep you warm too
