New Kitchen
27 Answers
When and if I get my mortgage sorted - I have been wanting a new kitchen - I guess at the end of the year. My cabinets are fine, electricity fine you know strip lights etc - everything is in its place - all I really want are the doors covered ie the kitchen doctor - I have got 2 (kitchen doctors) in all together but they don't want to do the job saying oh we can't guarantee this and that. Has had anybody their kitchen done this way and was it a success I dread to pay £12,000 for bloody cupboards that are there and just need being covered. I am also aware there are tiles, labour and other bits and bobs. What is your opinion.

They will work with the carcasses of your current units but if they encounter a problem with the carcasses, then they will want you to take that responsibility and pay for it to be rectified.
What are the guarantees that they won't make?

Personally I think a kitchen firm will try to insist on new cabinets a local carpenter etc may be more willing to fit new doors, just a thought.

Wouldn't 'Kitchen Fitter' be a starting point and then look for those on the Castlereagh Rd. The last time I looked the Yellow Pages was broken down by service, and they also offer associated trades as an alternative for you to search if you can't find what you are looking for.
Alternatively you could try Google.
