I heard on GQT that if you put strong smelling soap near your bird feeders it deters squirrels. I've tried it & it works!! :-)

So, like me, they'll be avoiding the Lush chain of shops then?
It stops working when the soap dries out or gets old.
Same goes for soap left in the bottom of the wardrobe to deter moths.
Would you like the stuff OH got me for Christmas?
He was tipped the hint about 'Flower Bomb'.
He went on the market and got some back-street-brand bath bombs - WITH GLITTER IN THEM - just the whiff makes my skin peel.

My mrs has enough soap thank you mosaic, usually unwanted xmas presents, crap raffle prizes or bought from craft fairs.
Chilli powder in bird food deters squirrels - the birds are not affected by it.
If they are grey tree rats a .410 is as good as anything.

Agreed paddywak. Got some fluffy bunny neighbours and they'd grass me up to the rozzers:-(
