Im thinking of purchasing a hostess trolley, i l fove having the daughters and grandchildren over for sunday lunch. i didnt think they were so costly, any1 sith any advice where to purchase 1 from, id like 1 with 4 serving dishes i live in north wales - can any 1 help.. thanks in advance.
I loved my h trolley...but gave it away when we downsized as didn't have the room and I don't really party so much now....gave it to a day care centre for the elderly..they were overjoyed so it has a good home...
I bought one in 1972 and thought , then, that it was the height of sophistication. Used it twice and hated it. The food didn't taste good and so I gave it away to a charity. Couldn't even sell the bl***y thing. It also took up quite a lot of space. If you're thinking of getting one, good luck. Maybe you'll have more success with yours than I did with mine.
i have seen heated serving dishes (like the top rack on a trolley) in my local b and M barains. I think it was about £25. I remember thinking at the time how handy it would be for hot food on a buffet.
Argos or Amazon have them from about £45 - over £220 for a cupboard style. They are good idea, especially if you have people coming in different times or entertain alot
