Every year I try and fail to store my daffodil bulbs. I read somewhere, but typically can't remember, about storing the dry bulbs in brown paper bags. Do any of you know of this method?

I don't store them, horseshoes - I just leave them where they are, it gives them the chance to spread and double.

I do leave the ones in the ground Boxtops, although this year EVERY single one was "blind". The ones I, asking about are the ones in my tubs, which I want to plant up with summer bedding. Perhaps I could plant on top of the bulbs. Would that work?
yup, I have tubs which I replant over the daff bulbs (and others) every year.
My old dad was a gardener his whole life and he always said daffodils hate being moved. I always leave mine in the ground and as boxtops says they spread and double up. If a daffodil is "blind" dig it up and compost it, it'll never come back. Tubs look great layered with bulbs and summer flowering bedding plants.

Right oh! They're staying in the tubs. Thanks one and all.
Yes, I have layered pots, daffs at the bottom, things like hyacinths and tulips on the top. Never shift them.
