New Worktops

I need new worktops in the kitchen but worried that the tiles will break when the old ones are removed. My friend reckons she has seen an advert where instead of removing them, another work top is fitted over the existing one. Has anyone heard of these ? TIA

That's a good product Jasmin, but I think you'll find they are quite expensive.
Worktops will come off easily as long as the seal against the tiles is cut fully. A Stanley knife usually to cut the silicone bead.
