Yesterday I decided to have what is called...a feature wall....in the hall...yes I have just decorated it...my mind changes itself.
I bought four Dulux tester pots....they're far too expensive for what they are don't you think....and the first three...though firm opened fine.
The fourth needed brute strength...I used too much....the bit of plastic pinged off....brush attached....The brush full of Redcurrant Glory hit me in the face and sprayed a beautiful arc all across the kitchen...cupboards...wall...ceiling and floor. It was a scene from Midsomer Murders without a doubt...and I was the victim.
In the dash to find paintless specs and clean up before it dried I didn't notice the paint in my hair....which is why I say happy accident....it's not right in the hall but would be a great hair colour....if I can persuade my hairdresser to find some dye the same......☺
Clare...never had my hair coloured.....the hairdresser mentioned that I might like to begin covering the grey...wasn't keen til I saw this....it's quite dramatic.....☺
I remember when I was you about 17/18 I tried to colour my hair, I ended up with Pillar box Red, believe me my poor mother saw RED (that was well over 50 years ago.
Clare....I had fiery red hair so never wanted to dye it but friends used to dye theirs in secret....like their mums wouldn't notice.....but so many went green in those days....though that could have been due to my helping them......☺
Hi, Helly...I once went to a talk by Kate Adie...during Q&A I asked if she had problems with getting insurance......OH looked at me and said....I can't insure you....what makes you think she'll get it......she did!
Anne...who would be daft enough to supervise me with a sharp object!
Pots are about £1.50...on offer at three for £3 but it can take me up to ten goes to find the perfect colour because I swear what comes out of the pot is nothing like the brochure......x
