Yesterday I decided to have what is called...a feature wall....in the hall...yes I have just decorated it...my mind changes itself.

I bought four Dulux tester pots....they're far too expensive for what they are don't you think....and the first three...though firm opened fine.

The fourth needed brute strength...I used too much....the bit of plastic pinged off....brush attached....The brush full of Redcurrant Glory hit me in the face and sprayed a beautiful arc all across the kitchen...cupboards...wall...ceiling and floor. It was a scene from Midsomer Murders without a doubt...and I was the victim.

In the dash to find paintless specs and clean up before it dried I didn't notice the paint in my hair....which is why I say happy accident....it's not right in the hall but would be a great hair colour....if I can persuade my hairdresser to find some dye the same......☺

mmmmm just an observation really, should/are you allowed to use sharp objects ( yes even paint brushes ) without supervision ?
Agree with you on Dulux tester pot prices - exorbitant.
