My Dishwasher Baskets Have Rusty Tips.
6 Answers
The dishwasher works well although it's quite old but I don't use it because some of the tips on the baskets are rusty. I had a quote for replacement baskets for £120 + VAT and am reluctant to spend this much. Any advice would be appreciated. I had the same problem with my first dishwasher and I used Tippex but probably not a good idea!

If that firm does not strip the old coating off (i.e. only coats new or already stripped items) then they are likely to know somewhere that does shotblasting. That said, I agree with woofgang that this may be much ado about very little. As an alternative to powder coating you could consider Hammerite, just make sure everything is totally dry before applying the paint.
This works really good… Should be available in the U.K.
