A bit different to last year isn't it, I was still lighting the woodburner then, not this year though.
Took a couple of pics this morning of mine as I also thought things were looking beautiful today.

Hi,Tilly, the sun is shining today and everything in the garden looks great. We planted Red Robin photinias last year and they're lovely.Think I'll go out and check for weeds lol
It is the best Spring for blossom that I've seen in many years. My neighbour has a flowering cherry and it's beautiful, and the trees in the streets have lovely blossom too. It's very early - the neighbour's tree doesn't usually flower until May.
I need a foot of snow for my garden to look as good as everyone elses! Moss is so thick and high this year that it's clogging the mower, unless I raise the blades. Not looking forward to killing it off, then scarifying. From past experience, it'll be around 20 bin liners worth to carry to the local council skips. Once asked a local nurseryman what's the best thing to do about moss in the lawn. His answer? "Move house!"
Our dwarf cherry is a mass of blossom so with a bit of luck we'll have a bumper crop and Trish was over the moon after being complemented by one of the neighbours on how nice the front looked.I wouldn't mind but the hardest work she does in the garden is when she fetches me a drink.
Even my garden is looking good, Tilly....another £150 on plants today....and they look lost when you put them in, don't they.....but from nothing two years ago to what it is now....it's worth every penny and bit of hard work.
