Grass Seed

We're looking to re-grass a very large lawn, can anyone recommend a seed type or supplier?

We're looking at an area of about 11,000 sq m.

I'll ask OH when he gets home. He has to grass seed lots of areas at work.

I thought that sounded like a big patch!
It may be helpful to you, if you mention the soil type and aspect ie shady, sunny, also dose it need to be hard wearing ?

It's sunny and shaddy! There are quite a few big trees on the edge of the patch. The soil is mostly sandy, and we are looking for something low maintenance. Hard wearing would be good, but not the most important factor as it's not a main garden area.

The soil prep is probably as important as the grass seed itself. I,ve had great success but also complete failures with the same batch of seed.

If you can wait, sow it in early September for best result.
