removing silicone sealant

I am trying to redecorate the bathroom and the sealant especially near the shower has become very dingy. How can I remove the sealant without damaging the aluminium shower surround or the bath? thanks

You can buy silicone sealant remover in hardware shops. It won't damage aluminium - don't know about the bath if plastic. It doesn't work very well but is better than scraping.
