Toilet Seat And Lid Screeching
10 Answers
Had a new bathroom fitted 3 years ago and last year the plastic toilet seat and lid started to what only can be described as screeched whenever the lid or seat were raised or put down, but didn't happen if the two were raised together. I tried using spray furniture polish on the hinges and as it didn't work I used WD40. It was better and over time the screeching subsided but never went away. Now it's back and WD40 makes no difference and the screeching goes on. Any suggestions as to what to use.
