Kettle Tippers

I need to buy a kettle tipper, as my dear one has terrible tremors and sloshes boiling water everywhere, we have a round (old fashioned shaped kettle) that's not very old, cordless, that stands on a base, I have googled them but none look suitable for our sort of kettle, advise please.

If, by 'round' and 'old fashioned', you're referring to a design akin to the shape that most of us here remember as what a kettle looked like when it sat on a stove (possibly with a whistle in the spout), I've also found difficulty in finding a kettle tipper that will definitely do the job for you.

Further, anything that looks like it might do the job (but with no guarantee that it actually will) seems to be vastly more expensive the models that are clearly only designed to work with jug kettles.

So (daft as it might sound) it might make more sense to buy a new (jug) cordless kettle and to get a 'standard' kettle tipper (of a type specifically designed for use with cordless jug kettles).

i.e.given that some kettle tippers that look as if they might work with your existing kettle (but with no guarantee that they actually will) seem to be priced at nearly £40, it would be cheaper to fork out a fiver or so for a 'value' cordless jug kettle from Asda and to use it with a well-reviewed kettle tipper, such as this one, for around £22:

In all my years I have never heard of the term 'kettle tipper'. Please do not seek to enlighten me, I do not wish to know. If I have survived 65 years without one I can't see what good it would do me now.

I tend to agree with Buenchico...also given the prices of the equipment and the fact that they take up a considerable amount of kitchen space, my vote would go to the hot water dispenser.

First I recall hearing of them too, but I see Amazon has a 'derby' one here Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation which looks a possibility.

Thank you all, the 'derby' looks the best bet, think I will order one and see what its like close up, a bit of trial and error maybe.

Just looked at hot water dispensers as I had never heard of them, they look great, so might change my mind and try one, they do look safe, so thanks woofgang.
