Tips For Small Sunny Area Please

Small area at front of house. Approx 8feet x 4feet. Reasonably sheltered. South West facing. Close to beach.
Want to pebble it but with few hardy shrubs. Need to require little maintenance as is holiday home. Any ideas please what to plant.

I think the Hebe suggestion is a good one from Mallyh, They don't get too tall.

a few more you may like to check out are : Sea Holly (Erygeron maritinum). Sea Pink (Ameria ).And Rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis).

I think a selection of ornamental grasses would look really good in that situation and they are very low maintenance too.
