rubbish bin bags
4 Answers
In our area in uk the household rubbish bins are being emptied every two weeks. Ok in winter not so good in summer. Would be a good idea if you could buy perfumed bin bags like the nappy sacks so that your bin smells nice and fresh. They have only just started this new collection. Anyone have this in their area and do you have problems with smelly bins

Luckily we have a garden hose and an outside tap.But they are big and cumbersome to clean.I sprinkle dustbin powder in it from time to to time as it is in use...All a pain in the butt really but I suppose we have to do our bit for the environment!
yes we have a company that clean the bins but I don't think they come very often because I don't see them. Ours have started giving us a bag for garden rubbish as well which goes out once a fortnight. I suppose with all the rubbish we collect these days ie ready meals tins cardboard packages etc they have to do something. I just hope we don't get any flies in then during summer as I cannot cope with maggots. Also there are not any dog bins in our area only in the park so we have to bring that home with us as well and this has to go in the bin. .Perhaps something like shake n vac would make it smell a bit sweeter.
