there is no "electric" C/H you either have electric storage heaters fitted or buy plug in electric heaters. radiant or fan and panel type, you can buy plug in panel heaters from £30 at argos

There is gas ch but its troublesome & needs upgrading. I want to replace gas with all electric. Is that possible?

Hmmm Ivor, running costs are double gas ch. Will have to remain with gas board con merchants. Thanx all
