Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it .
My friend has a Peugot 206 and has found on 2 occasions when it has been parked overnight that the floor on passenger side is wet , windows and roof are shut . , and doors locked . She has taken it to garage and mechanics cannot find a reason for this , Can anyone think of a reason for this , she would be grateful .
Thank you.

Leaf debris etc blocks the drain holes at either end of the chamber, water builds up (when raining, obviously) when parked and gets into the interior via the heating/ventilation system.

my very first answer on this site was to this question in feb 07 it turned out to be a kink in the polythene door skin behind the card.when driving in the rain you could see water dribbling in at the bottom of the door. mine was brand new 03 plate, turned out to be the 1st of quite a few according to the mechanic when speaking to him on later visits to the garrage
The underside of the car & in various areas there are Rubber Plugs, there are 2 in the under the foot well Area of the car, check these, Peugeot should have checked the drain Holes at the N/S + OFF/S Chambers so I can not see that's the problem, check the door seal, the one that surrounds the area where the door closes.
