Save My Poinsetta?

My Christmas poinsettia has only a few leaves left. Will it re-grow next Christmas or should I just chuck out?

Chuck it out. To keep them and get them to turn red for next Christmas requires a lot of faff involving keeping in the dark and cold for several months - high maintenance

So do I, threw mine out only last weekend. I did mange to keep one once through the year but it was only a green leaf plant and needed to be out of the central heating.

They can be kept but to be honest, it's not worth it.

Mine has almost all of its red leaves, but hardly any green ones left.

I have given it a further stay of execution.

The growers have got their timing down to a fine art, to get them looking good for the Christmas season.
Personally, I wouldn't feel too bad about chucking it out, knowing how much fuss they need...but hey you can always get a new one next year!
