Not too hot, cold or windy. Just right.

I've had an enjoyable day pottering about, weeding, digging, planting seeds.

Have you been in the garden? What have you done?

More what, Jakep?
Hostas mainly! But we always go on the Sunday and then you get 'bargains'.
Alstroemerias £1 a pot, rude not to.
Question Author
I didn't know that, Jakep. Hampton Court garden centre is it? Or what?
Sat in garden doing puzzles whilst Campbell cat stretched out on the table basking in the sun.
Hoping for similar tomorrow as am marshalling at the Oakley 20 mile run, although will feel sorry for the runners if it gets too warm.
Question Author
Marshalling? Why aren't you running, Campbell?
Have run it before, and it's a lovely run to do, but am happy to leave it for those getting ready for the London Marathon this year.
Question Author
Ah, I see. Thank you. I'm doing The Race for Life in July. Are you?
Hampton Court RHS Flower Show. Changed a bit over the last 12 years that we've been going but still 'bargains'!
Probably not this year, have done it a couple of times. Good luck with yours.
Question Author
Thank you, Campbell.

Thank you, Jakep.
must have been OK, as there were queues to the recycling centre down here, absolute chaos, even on a motorcycle trying to get past them all :-(
I love this time of year, when everything springs to life. Always plenty to do in my garden, I regard it as my little bit of Paradise.
Doing some fence repairs at the moment.
My Amelanchier is just about to burst into bloom, lovely blossoms!.
Looking forward to warmer evenings, when I can sit outside on my Adirondack with a beer, forget about all the troubles in the world and look up the the wonder of the stars.
The Mulien and western coltsfoot, I planted last year is seeding and spreading well now.
Don't forget to take some time to sit back and relax!
Question Author
Its brightening up here. Might do a bit more today.

Chip, I had to look up Adirondack. I thought you meant your bottom. :-)
Morning, Tilly...horrid night but brightening up now. Still chilly so I may go and buy some more rocks for the pebble pool and that'll give the gardening shoes time to dry out......little devils didn't come inside last night.......x
Question Author
Morning, Gness. Yes, horrid night.

You should get a spare pair of gardening shoes, Gness. I have three pairs of Crocs on the go.
There is a spare pair somewhere......and wellies which I think today will call for after all the rain.....
Well, that as well Tilly. :-)
Even a few butterflies flitting about today
