Have just been looking on Amazon as I want to buy a set of measuring cups for baking. Saw an ideal set, however there is a rather strange warning given. "Not for sale to persons under the age of 18. By placing an order for this product, you declare that you are 18 years of age or over. This item must be used responsibly and appropriately."
Any idea of another use for measuring cups?

Alternatively perhaps they've remembered that the average kitchen contains quite a few hallucinogenic substances (especially nutmeg), so perhaps they don't want minors using their measuring cups to gauge the intensity of their legal highs?

I think it's a genral rule on Amazon, some sellers may spell it out whilst others don't.
I'm sure an under 18 would have no trouble buying measuruing cups in a shop.
