Suddenly very dark in Surrey at 7.15 pm........slight rain only. Desperately need lots of rain for my large garden, heavy rain was forecast today, we only had light sprinkles, and strong damaging winds. hope we get lots of rain tomorrow night...as per the "forecast".....as another mini-heatwave predicted for 2nd half of next week.

Nor WLV is gray with fast moving dark clouds rain I their sights just waiting to unleash it's torrent.

My BBQ tomorrow looks like it mightbe a washout.

Hammered down several times today. Bleak and very blowy the rest of the day.

Been lovely here today, scudding clouds in blue skies (with pretty fierce winds)until about 4.00pm when it tippled it down for 20 mins.. It rained again for about 20 mins. about 7pm. and is now fine. We had a lot of rain overnight - ground soaked. It stayed fine for my birthday meal and walk and sproglets had a chance to run off their energy, which is OK by me (and restaurant staff!).
