Does any decorators out there know how much it should cost roughly to paper one 7ft wall

That's one straaaange room. But anyway, I'd say it should take no more than half a day for a pro so about £100-£150 depending where you live and how busy he is.

Knock on a few doors, introduce yourself as new to the neighbourhood and ask if they know any local reliable trades people.
