750 grams or 1.65 pounds
Its the same!

So if you are buying 10 litres that is 10 kilos
Not quite the same I liter weighs 600 to 850 gms , depends on type of compost and the moisture content. If you say 0.75 Kg per Liter you will not be far wrong. So a ten liter bag weighs about 7.5 Kg
Islay...your answer is only relevant for water and similar-density liquids.
Compost has no known weight .. it's weight would be directly relevant to the structure and moisture content.
Think about it .. it would be quite normal to buy a 120 litre bag of compost, others are are invited to do the maths, but how many people do you know who could lift 120 kilos and put that in their shoping trolley ?
I really struggle to lift a 10 litre bag out of a trolley and into the boot.
