MIRA Event XS Thermostatic Shower

Hi, Our village had the water supply switched off yesterday and now we have it back on our MIRA  Shower is not working!!! When we switch the shower on you can hear the motor working but there is no water coming through. Has anyone any tips/suggestions or am I going to have to get a plumber out!!??

you may have a airlock, try taking the shower head off the bracket and getting it as low to the ground as possible, turn the water temperature right around to cold and then turn the water on, you should get a decent flow then gradually turn the water temperature round to hotter (not the hottest) and that should work. If it doesn't then try undoing the shower head (turn the water off at the shower first) and taking it completely off the hose, turn the water on and that should clear any air lock. turn the water off the put the shower head back on, that should have definitely cleared it. Good luck. (My brother is a plumber and I recently had a similar problem and this is what he advised to do.)
