Pickling Cucumbers

We seem to have a glut of cucumbers and we're thinking of pickling some. Can anyone recommend a recipe (not too sour!)

Utterly delicious. They need to be stored in the fridge and don’t have a long storage life. Worth it though. You can adjust the amount of sugar to taste. I like mine on the sweet side.

oh PS they say to use special cucumbers and they are good if you can get them but ordinary ones work just as well.
