My son recently bought a house which he is in the process of renovating. He has 2 bathrooms, in the guest bathroom, the bath has been painted and looks unsightly with peeling patches.
He will not be doing this bathroom yet.
Do you think bath stickers will work, sticking them over the patches???

Personally I think it would be like putting lipstick on a pig.
Is it a cast iron bath or enamel?
Is it worth keeping?
Personally I would nip alon and buy a cheapie bath and just replace that to tide you over.
Baths are really cheap now so unless it's a 'period' one it would probably be more cost effective to replace it.

Yes it is iron with short squat legs.
I presume you mean the OUTSIDE of the bath? If he were to paint it with a dark grey hammerite type paint it might look OK.
I would replace too - they are so cheap.

Inside the bath. The previous owners painted it white and is now peeling in places which makes it look unsightly.
He plans to remove when time and money is right.
They painted the inside of the bath! Jeez. Tell him to get a new one.
Well you can buy enamel paint.
The bath is probably worth a lot of money in scrap metal terms. Tell him to dispose of it carefully.
