After an intensive cleaning session of my electric cooker I realised that I had wiped the signs telling which knob corresponds to which ring! Does anyone know if I can buy some sort of stickers to replace them? or anything that I could use instead?

Many thanks.

woofgang,

my cooker is the opposite of dirty - it is while cleaning it that I have wiped off the signs completely!

I think woofgang meant paint the signs back with nail polish ????? Not sure what sort of knobs they were or what but maybe you could improvise with some lettraset using a large circular dot in the corresponding position on the knob to where the ring is on the hob.
not impugning your cleaning skills, but for the nail varnish to stick you need a totally grease, silicon, wax polish, everyting free surface

buy some coloured dot stickers and stick them on in 3 of one colour and one of another colour in the place of the ring. or use a hole punch on coloured card or coloured electrical tape ----

Thanks Woofgang and Joko for your advice. I'll try the coloured stickers as I will probably make a mess of the nail varnish technique...
