Tips Of Jasmin Leaves Turning Brown

I have just bought a Jasmin and put it in a pot. Never had one before. I have had it about a week. The leaf tips are turning brown. How do you know if it's not enough water or too much or could it be something else?

Not sure if its a winter jasmine or star jasmine that you have there, but never the less, is it possible to move the pot to a slightly more sheltered position, at least until its become more established and settled in ?.
Keep it well watered but not swamped.

I bought a jasmine last year and planted it out on a south facing wall. It quickly turned into a crisp but it has grown again this year and seems to be doing ok, climbing up the trellis.

Windburn don't worry it will shed those leaves and grow fresh ones

It's a summer Jasmin. It's not in full sun and not windy. Hasn't got any worse so hopefully it's just settling in
