Where To Buy Blind Material.
I have a roller blind in my utility room which I would like to replace. The roller and mechanism is in excellent working order so all I really need is replacement material.
The window is relatively wide, 84", and the depth is a standard 54".
From enquiries so far I have been told that
(1) I cannot just buy the material and have to order a full made to measure blind.
(2) The window is too wide for a single width of material and I must therefore have a central vertical join.
I do not agree with either of these statements as I have refurbished this particular blind before, albeit many years ago.
Can anyone point me towards a supplier of material in 54" width that I could turn through 90° to get what I want (and have had before)?
Thanks

Thank you for the info Bookbinder and for the lengths to which you have gone in pursuit of an answer to my question. However, it appears that all the links which you kindly supplied are to companies who only want to supply made-to-measure blinds. My desired option, of purchasing only the fabric and attaching it to my perfectly functioning roller mechanism, does not seem to be available. (Grrr!)
Thanks again for your efforts though.

Not sure what the problem is, loads of fabrics in 54 and 60" width.. try dunelm they do loads.. where abouts are you because if the Midlands are in reach the ragmarket has loads of brilliant fabric stalls and if that is not enough there is the best fabric shop I have ever seen just across the road. Floors and floors just rammed with fabric.
