Guy who connected new washing machine , used the water supply hose from the old machine ,which has been on it for 15+ years

I noticed in the instruction manual it states the following -

''Do not use a used supply hose .
Only use the supply hose supplied or one that was purchased from an authorised specialist retailer ''

What is the reason for the above instruction
Do I need to change it to the new one that came with the new machine?

Would it affect the guarantee if i left the old one on ?

If it's not leaking, don't worry.

Keep the new one, in case some problem happens in the future.

I can't see how it could affect the guarantee.
If the new hose splits then the guarantee may cover the mess...if the old one splits you are on your own. After 15 years you are on borrowed time with the old one and they always split in the night or when you're on holiday...:-)
Bazile - digressing - how did you get on with getting your polyps removed.

Fine
The Anaesthetist gave me a mask and told me to breathe the stuff therein
Next thing I knew I was coming around in the recovery room

Thanks for asking :-)

That was to DTC
But it works for you as well Jenny :-)
As long as you have no recipes for polyps cooked in the washing machine, akin to cooking salmon or bream/sea-bass in the dishwasher...
