I am looking to buy a new Upright hoover, any recommendations you
can give me.

Emmie a friend of has the one you just bought - she let me try it and I couldn't believe that you had to keep your finger on the trigger non-stop. My hand and wrist were sore after just seconds.

But if you end up keeping it - get really strong tape - pull the trigger up so that it starts operating and wrap the tape tight tight around the trigger - Then you just have to switch it off and on at the plug socket.
