Grout Float

I've just replaced seven bathroom tiles and now I'm ready to grout them. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the old grout float I had. For this small amount of tiles I don't want to buy a new one if possible. Would something like a trowel, pallet knife, wallpaper scraper or even just a sponge do the trick?

Anything plastic with a flat edge should do. Wouldn't use anything with a metal edge.
TTT's idea is good, frost scraper.

Even a finger does a reasonable job ☺☺☺

my friend used a cloth when i move out with him in our bathroom. That was for a many number of tiles also! then when it dried he sponged it after then wiped with a cloth again. Not sure if that helps but it proves a cloth is possible :)
