Replacement Loo Seat

Recently had a new loo seat fitted .

A day later it became loose

Looks like the plastic plug that goes into the holes on the bowl , to take the screw , was put in the wrong way round .

Are these plastic plugs universal , or are they specific to the particular seat ?

you should be able to turn them around till they fit the pitch of the holes. Or maybe toilet seat fittings can be adjusted normally
