how can i get rid of wooly aphids on the front of a house on a 20ft high pyracantha which is in a border in asheltered spot

Short of dropping napalm from a plane, i think your best bet is to invest in a large sprayer (the type you strap to your back) and some greenfly killer (Rapid or suchlike) and get on your ladder. - A mask to stop you breathing in stray chemicals would be a good idea too.
