Hi,
I want to change my halogen bulbs to LED but they're in sealed units (GU315) & can't see how to take the bulb out & replace with GU10. Have looked at a few YouTube videos but mine aren't like the ones there.

Just before I moved in 2 years ago the people who were leaving showed me how to remove the bulb, using some gizmo. I could've sworn I put the "gizmo" with paperwork but what *is* where I thought I'd put it looks more like something that'd remove spark plugs from a car so can't see how it would work. There's nowhere else I'd have put it.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about & knows where I could source the "gizmo" ?

I've never seen anything like those before so not what I was shown, but might be worth a go, thanks :)
My normal method is to use tip of thumb and side of forefinger A little inward pressure and twist anti-clockwise. Allowing to cool sufficiently of course.
When you say they are in sealed units do you mean they may be IP rated? (generally for bathroom/kitchen use)..if so then you need to twist the outer bezel and glass to release it ..then twist the GU10 lamp to remove it.You may need to withdraw the fitting from the ceiling to enable removal of the bezel.
