Although Ive kep mine well watered (straight into the soil) the heat has made the flowers discoloured - - can they be revived,or do I just let nature take it's course?

Mine are changing colour now due to them coming to the end of their flowering season. They have been in flower for about 10 weeks or more so worth every penny. Leave the heads on until you get new growth next spring. The old heads will protect your plant from frost during the winter plus feed the birds.
