Cleaning Tapestry

A few years ago I made some lovely tapestry cushion covers, these are now in need of a clean but I have no idea how to go about this, can anyone help please ?

depends what they are made of and how much you care about them. I have handwashed mine in the past but I didn't care if they didn't survive. If you do care then specialist cleaner.
