House Fly No Wings Infestation
7 Answers
Hi this sounds strange but I have a large infestation of house flies that have no wings (please no jokes about them being a walk!). Weve found maggots a few days ago and they seem to appear when we leave the room (it's like they know when we are there) Hoovered disinfected used fly spray cinnamon (Googled the cinnamon deterant) I think they are hatching under the skirting board small gap as egg casings there. Any suggestions it's driving me mad ! I really need to get rid :(

It's obvious .. all the clues are there .. egg casing, maggots and flies.
Simple answer is you have something de-comosing behind or within the wall.
The bluebottle lays the eggs on the dead carcass ..
The eggs hatch and turn into a maggot which feeds on the rotting meat.
When the maggot has had it's fill.
It pupates and turns into a pupa .. (shell casing)
From whence it turns ino a bluebottle ..
The cycle wont be broken until the carcass has gone, if you dont remove it, nature will take it's course and the maggots will remove it.
When the source of food has vanished, so will the flies !
Sorry for the bad news .. ex. maggot breeder.
