Hello any gardeners out there help me with these questions please. When dead heading do you just pick off the flower or cut it at the stem. Also can I keep seed from this years blooms to have plants next year. ?

Thank you thought I was right with dead heading bit. Will have a read through your link.
It can be a bit of a sticky job, owing to a gooey substance which is secreted by the stems and leaves to deter things like aphids attacking them, so it might be a good idea to wear gloves.
