I have a large willow heart shaped ornament and want to cover it and make a Christmas wreath. Any ideas what to use to make it look pretty? Tia. I have lots of holly, ivy, conifer leaves in the garden I just need ideas.

google is your friend. I don't mean this nastily or dismissively but if you google something like how to make a christmas wreath and click on images, you will find enough ideas to fill your house, your neighbours house and the whole street.

Thanks for your reply.

If you find yourself needing a more detailed version of those instructions (from the same guy), see here:

There are so many lovely things you can use, Smurf. Even Dave made a fantastic one a couple of years ago.
I think I see a little bird peeping out of the link from Chris. A tiny little Robin is always lovely tucked away amongst the greenery....have fun!
I'd pick a two tone colour scheme and go with that. You can get some v realistic fake flowers off eBay, a pack of baubles and some ribbon. Plus a little wire. Also you can battery operated led lights that you can interweave for a few pence.
if you are going with battery lights, pay the extra and get a set with a timer.
I had battery lights on the one on my front door. It led through the letter box and I turned it off as I went to bed. Probably annoyed the postie though!
