In spite of using washi g machine cleaner fairly regularly, Mrs T has pulled the washing out of the machine, and most of it is covered in black marks.
She often cleans the door seal with mould and mildew cleaner.
In a word :- HEEEEELP!

just one answer, it may not be whats happening to your machine..
best get in an expert...

" Black marks are normally caused by oil leaking from the machine and that can only be coming from one place - the drum bearings. It means your bearings are wearing out, it is almost definitely going to be cheaper to replace it. In terms of the stain, it's going to be hard (if not impossible) to remove.
My DIL swears by washing up liquid and bleach on a high setting to clean the machine. Luckily we have "soft" water up here so not so many problems.
theland, how old is the machine?

try giving it the hottest wash (90c) with some bicarb soda in
never shut the door when you've done, leave just open, closing it with hot moist air inside is asking for trouble
PS and dry the door seal completely so no water at the bottom of it
